What did we do when he wasn't working? The question caught him off guard. He thought of what he was going to go home and do. He was going to make dinner, mix a new poison and test it tomorrow. He was going to water his plants and then read. He was going to read.
"I do a lot of reading," he said before realizing how lame that sounded. He grunted as he lifted the largest trap onto the elevator. He got in and the motioned for her to follow him. It was going to be a tight fit.
"And I make poison," he said wondering if she would get into an enclosed space with him.
